January 6th 2008 Mac OS X I totally rewrote my EyeTV channel changer and it now has an GUI and can support up to 4 STBs. I tested it with my DirecTV H20 and my DirecTV RCA DRD435RH. It also support the Samsung SIR TS-360 from DirecTV as I use to have it and had written the code for it a while ago. November 25th 2007 Mac OS X I recompiled AutoStarX 1.4 in universal binary (now version 1.4.1). You can download it from the AutoStarX page. July 19th 2007 General I have been really busy with my professional life but here are some quick news.. Astro I updated the equipment list and hope to have some good weather to try all my new stuffs soon. Mac OS X I'm working a version 2 of AutoStarX that will support Autostar II (no user object at first, may be in version 2.5). As I now have PPC and Intel Macs, I'll be able to test on both. I wrote an event listener for EyeTV 2.4.x that get the channel change event from EyeTV and change the channel on my DirecTV H20 (using usb to serial adapters). If you're interested drop me an email. Robot Due to the problem with the Coldfire 5206eLite board, I decided to switch to a design using a 68332 and just bought a RoboMind board. I recompiled a cross gcc on OS X and I've tested the serial communication with the board (it works). So the robot development should restart soon. September 15th 2003 Astro We reworked the astronomy section and added a few new pictures of Mars and a new one of the moon. August 28th 2003 Astro I added Mars picture taken on the night of August 27th (Mars opposition) and removed the crappy ones. August 24th 2003 Astro I did some picture of the sun with the D60 and a first try at Mars (not too good). August 12th 2003 Astro I received my Canon D60 and tried it with the LXD-55 ... check the new moon picture. June 9th 2003 General We now have a new logo thanks to our new graphist Michael Marugan who is now part of our team. Astro I built a focusing mask for the telescope so I will have new picture soon. I also bought a new Ultra Wide Angle eyepiece (87 degree view angle) that should bring some very good picture.. I have one file to regenerate and I will put this version for download. The one on the site now was a beta (with a few bugs in it). December 26th 2001 Atari Colums sources and binary are available in the Atari software section. December 25th 2001 Robot We're still working on our 5206e coldfire board for the Robot. Atari Colums sources and binary will be downloadable this week. Astro A new section with my first tries to astrophotography (Rodolphe). December 8th 2001 Robot Eric and Rodolphe are building a new 5206e coldfire board for the robot as we have some problems with the motorola evaluation board. Unix MXA is on the good way, sprites are working. Colums now has the sound module playing routine working (using libmikmod and threads). I'm going to start using MXA for sprite display. Atari Rodolphe is going to release all his sources of the Atari version of Colums and the binaries for those who don't care about the sources.
